Sirajum Sandhi is a Muslim-Abolitionist organizer and liberatory educator.
An asylee from Bangladesh, their intimate experiences with political and gender-based violence shaped their community organizing and advocacy efforts. They studied Gender & Sexuality, Global Health, and Religion at Dartmouth College, where they have been a Race, Migration, and Sexuality Scholar.
Sirajum is passionate about reproductive justice, queer liberation, and Islamic liberatory philosophy. They were also previously a Senior Youth Empowerment Program Advocate at Sakhi for South Asian Survivors. When not studying and organizing, they like listening to music in languages they don’t understand and daydreaming about launching a podcast about all things jinn.
