• *These questions will help us understand our network’s financial landscape and needs, and will not have any impact on the funds requested or received

Please only submit 1 form per organization, and we recommend that the form be completed by organizational leadership or finance staff. 

Organizations that do not submit a request form by June 22nd will not be included in this round of grantmaking.

Eligibility:

• To apply, your organization must be a SOAR Member Organization

Guidelines:

While all orgs who request will receive, these are the guidelines when considering whether or not to request funds in this round. We intend for the funds to go to organizations with smaller budgets. Organizations will be asked to assess their need and decision to opt in based on a few guidelines:

• Organizations under $3M

• Organizations facing critical program or staff needs

• Organizations facing imminent funding gaps & needs

Timeline:

• June 5th - June 22nd: Organizations Submit Request Form

• June 23rd - June 27th: Requests Reviewed by SOAR

• June 27th: Organizations will receive Grant Confirmation Emails & Grant Letters

• July 7th - July 31st: Payments Disbursed

FAQ:

Will there be future rounds of the fund, and can I request funds in the future?

Our hope is that we will build on the learnings and insights from this phase to continue growing this fund. All organizations can request funds in subsequent phases.

How will the data in the request form be used?

This data will be used to develop the case and narrative for future rounds of the fund, to help paint a picture of our field’s needs and challenges to donors. All data will be anonymized and aggregated, and if any quotes are shared, we will seek approval and ensure that you can review your quote before publication.

Will there be any reporting requirements?

We will ask that you complete a brief impact call or questionnaire to let us know how you used the funds.
