Priya Dhanani

Priya Dhanani (she/her) is a queer social justice activist working in community organizing to dismantle systems of oppression for collective pleasure, justice, and liberation. Her work is rooted in gender justice, including gender-based violence prevention, response, and movement-building.

Currently, she is a researcher examining how international aid and colonial legacies shape feminist and queer movements addressing gender-based violence in Fiji, with a focus on intergenerational dynamics. Priya is also deeply engaged in pleasure activism as a radical and necessary form of resistance.
